P Carver Photography now offers artists like you a chance to list your work whether digital or physical FREE of charge on our website. If your work sells on, P Carver Photography will deduct 15% of the sale as commission and transfer the remaining 85% to you within 15-28 days (14 day return policy must be honored and the funds will be held during this time period). The advantage of listing your work here is to expand your potential audience coverage without having to pay additional costs, such as payment processing, web hosting etc.  P Carver Photography will also promote your work on Instagram and other social sites to increase the chances of a sale and to promote you as an artist. 

P Carver Photography only accepts physical art, such as paintings, sketches etc. and digital art, such as digital pen work, vectors etc.

To send us pictures of your artwork please use which is a FREE service and is more secure then conventional E-mail, We also require the following details of your artwork:

  • Artist Name, Address, Phone Number, E-mail address

  • Name of Artwork(s)

  • Size of Artwork(s) (H x W x D in mm or cm)

  • Medium of Artwork (materials used)

  • Date Artwork was produced

  • Images (front, side, back and close up of brush work) must be in Jpeg and high resolution

Artist Terms And Conditions

These terms and conditions form a legally binding agreement between you and P Carver Photography, the service supplier. Your statutory rights are not affected

We are: P Carver Photography (UK) , 72 Rosebery Road, Norwich, Norfolk, United Kingdom, NR3 3NA
You are: a user of our services.

A. Clarification on Definitions

“Us/Our/We” means P Carver Photography.

“You/Yours” etc. means you, a user of our services.

“Site/Sites” means web site or any other sites owned and controlled by Us.

“Art/Artwork/Artworks/Products” means art/artwork/craftwork owned whether physical or digital and controlled by You for the purposes of selling through the Site.

“Service” means the process of displaying/marketing/selling your Artwork through the Sites.

B. Acceptance of You the Artist

B1.1 We reserve the right to accept or decline Your application to market Art\Artwork\Artworks through Us. Your application includes Your agreement of these terms and conditions.

B1.2 You confirm that all information supplied to Us is accurate, and up to date.

B1.3 You agree to have Your art and any descriptive information displayed on the Site.

B1.4 You will inform Us of any changes in the information stored by Us including name, address and contact details, pricing of Art, and the Sold status of Art.

C. Approval of Art

C1.1 If a sale is made you are entering into a legally binding contract with Us to complete the sale and dispatch the artwork in the agreed

time frame.

C1.2 We reserve the right to accept or decline Your application to market any Art through Us for any reason.

C1.3 Digital Artwork will be assessed by Us to make sure it is of good quality in order to sell online, We have the right to accept or decline a digital file for sale on Our site

C1.4 Artwork that contains content of racism, targeted hatred or indecent images of children will not be permitted

C1.5 It is Your responsibility to receive permission from any models used in Your Artwork for release, failure of obtaining expressed permission may incur additional legal costs paid by You

C1.6 We have the right to remove Your Artwork from Our site if deemed to upset and\or offend the public 


D. Non-exclusivity

D1.1 You may market Your Artwork through other channels simultaneously with marketing through Us, provided:

D1.1.1 this does not affect Your ability to deliver the Artwork to the Customer within the specified time frame.

D1.1.2 You do not offer Your Artwork at a price lower than the price which You are offering it through Us.

D1.2 If the Artwork is sold through another channel You will immediately contact Us so We can remove the listing, failure of contact may incur an admin charge of £15 to be paid to P Carver Photography by Yourself (the artist).

E. Copyright

E1.1 You warrant that all work sold through Us is free of any copyright restrictions or intellectual property disputes. You warrant the Work is Yours to sell.

E1.2 The copyright in the Artwork will remain with You even after ownership of the Artwork is transferred to the Customer.

E1.3 You grant us permission to use photographs of your Artwork on the Website and in any marketing materials, including on any websites, social media, in any advertising campaigns, online or offline, at any time.

F. Illustrative Images (Physical and Digital)

F1.1 You must supply at least three high-quality digital Images of each Artwork You wish to sell through Us: front side and back. A closeup detailed image of the brushwork would be advantageous. The Images must be in JPEG format. The Gallery Image will show the entire artwork including frame (if framed). The minimum pixel width of the Gallery image will be 800 pixels. The Detail Image will show a portion of the Artwork to illustrate the grain of the canvas. The width of the Detail Image will be at least 800 pixels.

F1.2 Digital downloads must be of high resolution and You must supply the original file which is not compressed

F1.3 Photos must be accurate and as close to the original picture as possible, please avoid altering the images and please consider your surroundings and ambient lighting when taking the photograph.

F1.4 If the photographs are of inferior quality the listing will not go ahead.

G. Pricing and Artwork particulars

G1.1 You will choose the normal price which the Artwork should be sold for. This price must be inclusive of VAT (if applicable) and Your delivery and insurance costs and Our commission. Our commission rate will be 15% for work marketed and sold online 

G1.2 We will, from time to time, agree to discount work and/or use discount codes up to a normal maximum of 10%. All artists are required to agree to accept such discounts on the selling price.

G1.3 Once accepted You agree to sell the Artwork at the agreed price.

G1.4 You are responsible for paying Your own taxes on income earned in accordance to Your country of residence tax laws


H. Delivery, packaging and insurance on physical products only)

H1.1 You are responsible and liable for costs of all materials, packaging, delivery and insurance costs. These costs cannot be reclaimed from Us under any circumstances and should be taken into account when pricing Your Artworks.

H1.2 You will ensure that Artworks are securely packaged, labelled and adequately insured for safe delivery to the Customer.

H1.3 You will not include any contact details that would encourage the customer to deal directly with You in the packaging, such as business cards, leaflets, letters of solicitation for business etc.

H1.4 You will package and arrange delivery of Artworks to the Customer within a maximum of five working days of receiving the order.

H1.5 Should You become aware of any reason why an Artwork that has been ordered from You may not be received by the Customer within 5 days, You will notify Us immediately of the reason for and expected length of the delay. We will attempt to contact the customer and in some cases may offer a refund to the Customer resulting in the cancellation of the order from You.

I. Returns and damaged and\or imperfect goods

I1.1 In the event of the Artwork arriving damaged and\or imperfections with the Customer, You will be liable for the costs of retrieving the Artwork.

I1.2 You will claim any costs in retrieving the Artwork through the insurance cover provided by Your chosen courier. We will not accept claims for reimbursement in the event of damage to Artworks under any circumstances. Insurance must cover the full value of the sold item 

I1.3 You accept that if You have not taken adequate insurance, You will be liable for the costs of retrieving the Artwork.

I1.4 You accept that the Customer may return the Artwork(s) within 14 days of receipt, and this will constitute cancellation of the order. We will not accept liability for Your delivery expenses in any instance.

J. Payment for APPROVED ART

J1.1 Should Your Artwork(s) be sold We will raise a purchase invoice for the Price. The Invoice will be paid by Us no sooner than 28 days after We have confirmed delivery of the Artwork(s) to the Customer.

J1.2 Payment will be made by bank transfer or PayPal depending on the artists choice. PayPal may charge a small percentage fee of the total funds transferred if you choose this method of payment.

J1.3 P Carver Photography is legally required to honor a minimum of 14 days 'return period', therefore We will hold the purchase amount until this time has passed and if no claim has been made We will release the funds to your bank or PayPal account. P Carver Photography will not deduct the 15% commission until the 14 days 'return period' has been passed. 

J1.4 Funds transferred via bank transfer or PayPal may take 5-10 days to reach your account, however, generally it is quicker.

K. Ownership of Customer relations

K1.1 You agree that the business relationship between the Customer and Us is entirely owned by Us. You will not approach the Customer directly or correspond with the Customer in any way, except with express written authorization from Us. You will not sell directly to the Customer or allow a direct relationship to develop between You and the Customer that could be detrimental to Us. You will not pass Your contact details to the Customer, including in Artwork packaging.

K1.2 In the event of a return or damaged goods claim, we will release Your details to the Customer.

L. Data Protection


L1.1 We will only retain your personal details for the duration your artwork is listed on, however, if a sale has been made through only your basic information, such as name, address, email and telephone number will be held. This information is to be recorded in the unlikely event any issues or concerns may be raised by the customer and require contact from the artist.  

M. Disclaimer

M1.1 You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Us, Our officers, directors, employees, agents, and third parties, from your use of the service, including any violation of these rules.

M1.2 We provide this service on an “as-is” basis without warranty of any kind including the implied warranties of merchant-ability and fitness for a particular purpose.

M1.3 This Agreement is entered into in England and shall be governed by, and shall be construed in accordance with, English law. The courts of England shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any cost, action or proceedings, and to settle any disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these rules and you irrevocably submit to the jurisdiction of such courts.

M1.4 We reserve the right to change artist terms and conditions, as necessary to support our business objectives, by giving a minimum of 28 days notice in an artists’ E-mail

M1.5 Using the service constitutes acceptance of these rules.
